SNIPER INSTRUCTOR

The Sniper Instructor course combines all the knowledge and skills from the basic and advanced courses. This train-the-trainer course will give snipers the tools to plan and present an effective course.

This is a 4 or 5 day, 40+ hour course.  400 rounds ammo

Snipers will be given multiple opportunities to give short topic lectures along with range demonstrations and shooting.

This course will cover:

• Teaching the fundamentals

• Training safety

• Trainer legalities

• Position instruction

• Rifle, optics, and ammo nomenclature

• Teaching techniques

• Classroom lecture and range instruction

• Lesson plans

• Training musts

• Range teaching demonstrations

• 1 minute quick teachings

• 15 minute presentations

**Prerequisites**

• At least three years as an active sniper

• Successfully completed a Basic Police Sniper course

• Successfully completed an Advanced or Intermediate Police Sniper course
